The Unicorn Farm® is an agritourism visiting farm located in Fountain Inn, SC. Created and run by Kate Nichols and Rick DeBerry, they have dedicated their lives to caring for their livestock pets and teaching others how to make small changes to fulfill their agricultural dreams. They also run a 501(c)(3) non-profit horse rescue, dedicated to pulling horses from the slaughter pipeline, rehabbing and finding excellent homes for them.
As a small family-owned farm, we invite you to be our guests, and come and meet our human and animal family. Our goal is for you to enjoy a deeply immersive animal experience with our livestock pets. We genuinely care about your experience and are here to assist you in any way we can with your visit.
This is the 2nd time that we have taken our granddaughters and they have loved every minute. You can tell from the very time you enter that the owners give genuine care to each of the animals. They have created an atmosphere for families and animals to create special memories. Hank the Unicorn donkey is such a fun sight to see and he welcomes everyone that comes onto the farm. With all the goats, bunnies, chicken and pony rides are worth every dollar. Money well spent , animals are loved and cared for very well. The time difference between when we first took our granddaughters was 9 months and going back was all they talked about. If anyone has the opportunity to go I highly suggest the trip it is well worth the money. We will be back.
When you work full time and have kids, getting in “you” time can feel like a struggle. One way I have figured this out, is to work little stuff I like to do into my everyday life, and that is what I want to share with you. My brain goes faster than my body and I have about 80 projects on the backburner everyday, so I try to stick to 1-2 projects per week so I can experience success when they are finished. I hope you’ll join us on our journey to just being people.
